Default ERJ-175 Communications Questions

1. You pull into base. You shut the engines down, put your headset away and get ready to go. Pax are getting off. The aft FA then rings the cockpit. Can you talk to her on the interphone without pulling out your headset?

2. Can you talk to a ramp person without plugging in your headset?

Hand microphone and speaker on, yes. Select your appropriate audio panel settings for ramp or cabin.

Just ignore her call and go home. Problem solved.

I wouldn't do that. she probably saw the crew scheduler waiting for you at the top of the jetway. if you take the call you would then know to go out the exit door on the jetway and escape through ops😂😂

Or, if you’ve really had enough, just use the JetBlue method…
