I think Skywest would pay less if they acquired post bankruptcy as the only way a judge and the creditors committee would approve an outside plan that involved liquidation is either if Mesa's POR was complete crap or if the payout was more (a good deal more) than what they could recover in Mesa's POR.
But then again maybe not, obviously JO would have no job post-merger and that might be enough to cause him to torpedo a post-BK merger, he is a felon after all.

These rumors are crazy. I sure read alot about the compass andMesaba deals nefore they happened.....................NOT!
You can be in CH 11 and liquidate, CH 7 is not necessary. Now back to your $18 an hr and 50% DH pay you voted for.

Maybe JO does get what he pays for.

That payrate went out the door with the last contract that 400 guys voted "No" on. Everyone on property is on at least year 4 pay which looks to be only 2 bucks less in than RAH's.

Don't spend that extra $125 bucks a month in one place.

There may have been sarcasm involved, but not humor. More like mean-spirited and uninformed flamebaiting.

MAG pilots did raise the bar, not nearly enough, but it has been raised just enough to stay off the chopping block in BK.

When should be expect others doing the same job to follow suit instead of allowing their contracts to be purchased or operated at for a loss?

That was sarcasm.
