What X military, corporate folks. I guess with no one hiring for the last 5 years you get folks that want to just get back into an airplane.

Anyone have a contact for whoever schedules the new hire classes? I got hired back in December, spoke to the recruiters and was told that I'd hear in January about a class date. I've sent a couple of emails to the recruiter I was speaking to, but I've heard nothing back.

Using the bathroom in clt is always weird for me. I feel like they're looking over my shoulder. Some serious troll under the bridge stuff.

Yes. And the majors just aren't calling. Lots of pilots with thousands of jet, Part 121 hours as well as corporate/135 jet guys. A few former captains. Friends who were hired recently at Trans and XJT had similar class profiles. If this is who shows up for "hard to fill" classes, I don't think any of the regionals are going to be too worried.

It seems like all of the "good luck finding pilots" talk on these boards is a little overblown at the moment. Things could change, but HR departments probably aren't on high alert just yet.

These Skywest guys are talking about well yeah at Skywest we are getting 200 EJETS. But how many 50 seaters are y'all going to be losing? At the very least it will be a wash.

Maybe they might be overqualified? Majors always talk about not hiring guys with too much flight time.

It's guys like you that give Mesa a bad rep.

I asked how many people were showing up to class, not what percentage. 1 person showing up could be 100% if that is all they are hiring...get it now?

I know this is difficult for you, but read slowly and you will be just fine.

Gimme me a break man. I've seen plenty of insults spewed from your mouth(fingers) in the past months.

Now that the insult is directed at you its a problem?
