The 175's are longer providing more room. Plus being brand new and clean helps as well. I've had alot of compliments from passengers on the E175. Does the 170 have an Econ Plus class?

The 170 does have Econ plus. Not sure how being longer would make it any better, considering they both have a 31" seat pitch for both models.

Good lord. FaceBiter where are you at. JO can't tell you a year and a half out what upgrade times will be in a year and a half. He can only tell you what they were a year and change ago when those people got hired who just upgraded. This industry will look a lot different a year or two from now. You might be a captain, you might not. Banking on the crap JO spews is like banking on some rumor you read on a forum or heard in a crew room.
JO has nothing to offer except fast upgrades. That's why he keeps the recruiters and everyone else toeing the party line of fast upgrades that may or may not happen. Of course he will keep saying that. If he said oh I don't know could be 1 year could be 5 years, he knows that will be all over the forum and no one would come here. But the reality is there is no guarantee anywhere of a 1-2 year upgrade, especially here if we don't get more flying.
