Until god forbid something happens, and congress decides we need 5,000 hours and an STS type rating to sit right seat in a CRJ.

Rec is necessarily needed but they have a giant stack of guys trying to get in. With that it helps get the recruiter to actually call you back. If you look back at this thread you'll see guys complaining they haven't heard anything after initial contact from Mesa. I think putting in a year in at Mesa to see if the upgrade time is legit is worth it. If it's not go somewhere else and cost them a pilot for lying.

Thought I'd resurrect this old thread in hopes for some good conversation, minus trolls of course.
Anyone know how Mesa is doing with the 175s so far? Haven't heard any news lately in regards to staffing or performance.

Mod Note:
This is fair warning. Two Mesa threads have been closed already for excessive flamebait, trolling and juvenile stupidity. If I get a whiff of anything similar here, this thread will also be closed and offenders will be asked to leave. As long as I am still a moderator, I am not going to tolerate this kind of stupid behavior.

I've heard that Airways is snapping up those who already have 175 time and sending them to the 190 in Philly, but plenty of us lowly CRJ pilots have gone on to greener pastures.
