Couple of questions. What is the schedule like for mid-seniority FO's? My buddy who started in April gets 13 days off a month, but not productive trips (not bad for starting in April!). After a bit of quick seniority, will he see 18 days off a month? Also, what are the mins for upgrading (besides the 1000 hrs of 121)? Does Mesa enforce the training contracts, or do you think FO's will bid over to the perhaps new airplane (e175) or wait for upgrade?

Good for him. Hope it lasts.

You're adorable. NO! he will NEVER see that! 11/12 is standard. 13 is really good. 14 or 15 is out of the park! and only for the most senior.

It used to be 2500 with a x2 calculation for SIC in a mesa cockpit.

Again, you're adorable. YES! Of course they enforce it!

See my previous post... I think any FO in a CRJ will have to wait until upgrade to get their SJS fix. i.e. 175. By then they'll have immunity to SJS so it won't be an issue.

Are you guys having trouble filling classes now? If you guys are doing phone interviews now I'm wondering how you're going to staff the planes if it happens. Seems like the amount of SJS pilots is dwindling fast in the regional industry.

Haven't really been privy to all the "latest and greatest" however, the opposite seems to be taking place. Here's a quote from Flight Ops head M.F.

"A New Hire class of 40 pilots will commence training this Thursday, September 12. This will be our biggest class of the year and represents back fill for the Captain upgrades scheduled for this fall."
- DFO

I honestly don't know how they're doing it but I have heard they are already having a lot of issues during training and during IOE. All I can say this has gotta be expensive. Again I re-iterate before guys jump all over the "Phone Interview" only hiring. You've gotta pass sh*t !!! Nothing's shiny at any regional nor on any crap CRJ.

Anyone have info from recent Conf. calls.

Anyone who has nothing to do with Mesa will state that it merely takes a "pulse." You better check that out.

What's the deal with this "phone interview"? Is this a joke?
How can they determine someone has a pulse over the phone? LOL
And that SJS immunity thing was hilarious, got mine just looking at the pay scales!
