EJet ground and sim training will all be done in St Louis. Bases are IAH and ORD evenly with a possibility of a few planes at an East or West coast base.

750 mil loan.....Wonder how JO was able to secure all that extra USAir flying. (I scratch your back, and you scratch my back. I buy your POS subsidies, and you give me extra flying?) Just a thought.

And why would anyone mention their bench press on an airline forum? Everyone knows squats are way more impressive.

Will new hires go into the E-175, or CRJ then bid over. If there are new hires going to the -175, when will be the first class? Some time in March/April I'd suppose

That's the tricky thing for you guys and gals that would like to either fly the EMB or want the IAH base. We have a ORD base in the CRJ. According to the contract you cannot bid over to another aircraft unless you upgrade or there is a base closure displacement. So you will be fenced on the CRJ. But I would get in as fast as possible and get the seniority. Training cost a lot of money and I'm sure Mesa will try to uphold the contract, unless their is a visible shortage of new hires.

I'm really surprised that the E175 ground school will be held in St. Louis. The Dash, E145 and CRJ ground schools had always been held at the same training center.

FlightSafety has an E175 training center right next door to this one.

So you're saying the company tries to uphold the contract...very refreshing coming from you.

Yeah now that I read it again, it wasn't really all that funny at all. I could've done much better.
