Thank you Skillet for answering some of my questions a while back but if someone with more details can help it would be appreciated:
Just finished reading the last 40 pages or so basically everything from the last 2 months. I am currently an FO at a stagnated turboprop regional and have a few questions for anyone willing to help.
First off how many total crews are based in CLT and how hard is it to get in CLT after training then to hold a line?
How are the lines for days off on the most junior stuff? Number and length of legs? (I know 117 will change a lot)
I read a bunch of people talking about more 900's in past pages. Where does this come from and is it likely to actually happen or just rumor?
I just added Mesa as a targeted airline on my airline apps. Any word on how long it takes to hear or what they are looking for?
Anything I can do or anyone I can contact to move the process along?
Any idea when the next class is and if there are still spaces available?
Thanks to all in advance for any helpful information!

CLT crews = low 100s for FO's. Easy to get out of training. If you miss it cause you're last in your class, you probably can get within a few months after.
Jr lines = 11 days off per month. 1 to 4 day trips. 1 to 6 legs a day usually. average credit per day around 4 to 5 hours.
More 900s - until it happens, don't count on it. we can't tell you for sure on a message board what is going to happen. Its all rumor until they show up.
Lots of people are having trouble getting the recruiters to respond. No clue on how to beat that system. Even internal recs not necessarily getting responses. Must be a lot of interest.

Lots of these are impossible to answer. Read the WHOLE thread, and maybe you can glean some more data.

Thanks very much. That was helpful. If anyone has a name and number to call it would be appreciated. Thanks!!

You're welcome - good luck! I may have been a little generous on that average credit. Lets say 3 to 5 hours per day, 3 being really sucky and 5 being about the best you can ever expect. Jump on here guys and set me strait if I'm wrong on this.

My buddy had a 30 hour layover in the middle of a trip couple weeks back. This was considered a day off. Mesa is still a complete **** hole. I almost feel bad for all the suckers working over there.

I'm calling BS on this one--unless the 30-hour layover was in domicile, it wasn't considered a day off, and if it was, all they need to do is call scheduling or a chief pilot and get it re-coded.

Nope it was in south bend. They had 10 days off and 1 full day in south bend during a trip and that was the 11th day off. Call and get it recoded??? Like I said place is still and will always be a nightmare.

You almost feel bad for people who can't leave because of sweat equity they've developed in a place? Get them a better job elsewhere while retaining longevity then.
