Looks like the union is sweating based on this last email. I like how they characterize anyone with a dissenting opinion as posting highly inaccurate information and being uninformed, and blaming social media for this (God forbid it's just a horrible contract). Apparently only those who went to the roadshows and drank the koolaid have the "factual" information. The rest of us are uninformed.
I reread the old contract, I read the new contract, I watched the roadshows presentation, and I cannot fathom how ANYONE could vote yes. It just doesn't make sense. But I guess I'm just an uninformed social media guy.
"In unity" in their signature should be changed to "in unity with management."

I went to the roadshow, drank the kool aid, heard their side of the story, looked at everything from an opened mind, believed them that the company cannot pay us any more than they offered, agreed that this may be the best we can get, and I just voted NO on it.
**** poor language, and allows the company to have more control, no thank you.

Also I used the calculator and it said 1.5% payraise--nowhere near what I need to justify these concessionary work/reserve rules and handouts to the company
I prefer current book rules to this TA, and your piddly 1.5% isn't enough to give up things like seniority-based CML/CMF
Also (assuming you're a union apologist from your "bend over" tone)--the way you guys came out selling this thing like used car salesman really turned a lot of people off. I mean if I somehow found myself having to sell this, I would start off in an apologetic tone--not the patronizing, condescending tone our MEC speaks to the pilots in.

See how silly it looks when a GoJetter tries to talk crap on a Mesa guy?
Like two homeless guys calling each other poor.....

Just was asking a question, no need to have a dick measuring contest. Cancelation pay is in the new contract FYI.

It's nice finally having an opportunity to state our position on this MEC/TA after all of the ill will they have generated--it feels good saying NO.
