That's good, only if your pilot group doesn't vote it down, which it looks like a lot of them will.

Teamsters didn't even help pay for the development of KCM--ALPA did. You GoJetters should consider yourself lucky ALPA national even lets you use it at all. Now move along little GoJetter.

Along with places like Skywest, Atlas, Southwest etc....should they feel lucky as well? I mean if we are talking non ALPA members.

Also, we pay way more than the cost of KCM every month into our merger protection fund. Why do we have to pay that significant payment into a merger protection fund for the rest of our careers, you might ask?

Partially because of Freedom, but also because of your company/pilot group's creation and existence.

So if you want to come into a Mesa thread as a GoJet pilot talking about how crazy it is that we have to pay for KCM, consider the fact that every day you wake up and continue to fly for GoJet, you are perpetuating the success of a business decision that directly slashed negotiating capital at all regional airlines in the entire USA--forever. It wasn't just the royal screw-over of TSA's pilots--for me personally, the stink of your operation will never wear off, even if "you weren't there when it happened."

Atlas, Southwest, and AA (which was APA non-ALPA during KCM's development) all supported the development of KCM as members of Airlines for America (A4A). So their employers helped pay for its development.

And yes--Skywest, RAH, and GoJet pilots should feel lucky they get to use KCM, since neither their pilots nor employers paid for its development.

Lol.....I forgot that Mesa was a top tier feeder. Sorry to have **** on your parade. Your a labor shop at the end of the day that keeps the gravy train running at the lowest price point possible. Btw you talk about working for a company that undercuts and hurts the industry? Have you seen your pay scale? You support the cause just as much as anyone else at a regional by working for sub par wages for the equipment we fly. So you can sit in your ivory tower and spout off at the mouth all you want, but your like any of us peasants.

Man I feel so lucky. I get to keep my 2% and don't have to pay for kcm. You use what ever you need to justify working for well less than any pilot deserves. Someone's always got to be on the bottom, but as long as they have alpa it's all good.

Of course exclusivity was a goal of those who set it up, but it was also a hardline that would have killed your "development ". KCM costs can only be validated if a very large pilot group has access and voila you have 135 pilots getting inclusion.

Silly debate keeps coming around. The government will not set up a government program and give exclusivity to a union/special interest group. there is no luck about it. Coat tails is a different argument, but not luck.
