Off topic for a second..
Can you use KCM when not in uniform? As long as you have your KCM badge and crew badge and are in biz casual attire, or uniform only?
Thx.

You can now you KCM when not in uniform. You still can't carry anyone's stuff through it, including your kids as, apparently, someone tried to do.

That's cool man, and I am glad that works for you. Now let me tell you about what works for me...
I live on the coast of California, where I can see the pacific ocean from my living room and go for a run 365 days of out the year in shorts and a t-shirt. Hell I don't even own heavy winter clothing. I have a one leg commute to a domicile that is VFR 99.9% of the time and I never have to fly any further east than Texas or north of the Mason Dixon line if I don't want to. And I'm really quite content with that at the moment.
Not knocking your gig. I'm glad that it works for you, but know that it's just not very preferable for some.
