I don't think the concerns is that they would leave IAD without crews, they should allow DFW upgrades and just send them over there to base assist if the need arises. Mesa is still in denial about the need for CAs. The company plans for attrition on the CA side of about 5 per month...the number is closer to 20.

How can they pick and choose which parts of a standing bid to award? If a pilot's seniority can hold something in the bid, they have to be awarded it.

Has anyone given any thought about going to Horizon on news about their order of 30 Ejets with options of 33 more? Sounds like they may have a fast upgrade train coming soon...
As far as opening up Dallas for CA upgrades, your still going to get IAD, as senior IAD CA's on reserve bid for DFW to get lines.

Sure, that means they can cancel the whole thing and run a new one. But they can't not fill a legitimate bid they issued. They should have cancelled it again and rerun it.

Somebody was saying that they are losing more Q's than receiving Ejets. And also that you'll go straight to the Q and not the Ejet.

I'd be tempted, but unless you are senior enough, you'll be stuck on reserve. I'll let the more senior CA's in DFW go for that!

Also very interesting, people are putting QOL above upgrading and bigger paycheck.. Can't blame anyone for not wanting to go to IAD and be stuck on reserve until the day they quit, paying for expensive hotel rooms or rent!
