I almost did, but then I realized what really is important. Waiting an eternity to upgrade flying clapped out -200s that are being parked anyway? No thanks.
More flying at Mesa means I'll upgrade faster, and can move to a major sooner. I'll do what I have to to make that happen, sorry if you disagree

I just realized you're a new hire. You can't vote anyway. Its pilots like you who bring and keep the industry down. You say you'll be on to a Major in a few years. You're a joke. You don't think there are tons of guys in the Regionals who said the same thing but are still here. Barring a recession or another tragedy we all might have an opportunity to be with a major in 3 years. Good luck with your career. One day you may learn not to be a sell out for a shiny jet or a POS contract.

The current contract has been negotiated for almost 5 years. So, if you vote yes all of the pilots who will come here after you and the ones that are stuck here will have to live with those pay rates for 10 years not 4.5 you dumba$$. Make things better now just in case you don't get your "quickie upgrade".

I don't care, I'll be gone, or Mesa will be gone. Don't choose to work here if you don't want to. I'm not concerned with maintaining the Mesa status quo for the next generation. More money in my pocket now, even a little, is worth more than whatever else is in store down the road (there isn't any). If you work at Mesa, you're already harming the next generation of pilots.

It's really not though. If instead of studying the contract, we took the time used on that and picked up extra flying instead, we'd have made more money than the contract offers in a year. That's how negligible it is. Add onto that the definitively worse reserve rules, and it's plainly worse than our current contract.
