Me? Thanks....I guess. I'm slow so sorry if I don't get the reference.

My post is simply to explain my position that I think this sibling rivalry in the regionals is useless. People (for the most part) pick their regional because it's convenient to commute to, and would leave at the first hint of being hired at a major. This regional pride/bashing trend is comical. Get in, get out, move on.

Mesa Airlines to operate 15 more 175s

Regional pilots hate on other regional pilots because of the whipsaw game. Some folks get lucky and get a quick upgrade, but it always comes at the expense of a 7-8 year FO, who had bad luck and their upgrade "stolen". I don't think it's right to act immature, but that's where the hostility originates. And, while not directly the fault of the quick upgrading pilot, it's somewhat justified.

On the subject of 175's for AA, I seriously doubt it. I'm at Envoy and we are really fat on pilots. I'm looking at the DFW reserve list and more that 40 FO's are getting paid to sit at home today. The top half of the list has barely worked the last couple months. They could award us 20 more airplanes tomorrow and we'd have no problem staffing everything, even if we don't end up transferring any thing away. They are spending lots of $$ to get the 175 program up and running here, so they'd put us to work before betting on another airline.

Also, AA is nearly scoped out, so there's that.

Also from Training Dept they want to bring all the aa E 175s to envoy, Compass E175, will probably come back to envoy once the contract expires..so true they are spending lots of $$ on the 175 program..

You just described the majority of every pilot group among the regionals. Unfortunately there at least a few bad apples at every carrier who feel the need to make below the belt comments in a failed attempt to make themselves appear elite or superior to their colleagues. I've noticed that Mesa and PSA threads seem to generate the most of that kind of behavior here on APC.

I was told that the training dept has essentially been given a blank check (exaggeration of course) to do whatever it needs to get the E175 on line and top knotch. While it's all obviously up to Parker and Co. as to where the contracted out 175's end up, envoy is making plans to take on much much more then the initial 40 that start arriving next month.

"November 1, 2015 we will begin flying into ORD as an outstation again, except this time we will be utilizing the "Aircraft Parking Information System" (APIS)."
