Hi mods--this thread has devolved from pilots who don't work for Mesa hating on Mesa, to pilots who don't work for Mesa hating on each other (which has nothing to do with Mesa or us buying 15 E175s).
I will note that no Mesa pilot I am aware of is spending most of their free time in this or other regionals' threads stirring up stupidity and thumping their chests about who flew what D0 numbers in whatever month. Please lock this thread and let these regional sky gods go back to their mother's basement/Microsoft FlightSim accounts--in the time they spend commenting upon the success of other regionals, they could be volunteering, attending job fairs, completing graduate degrees, etc.--you know, things that actually help you get hired at mainline so you actually can claim to be better than any other regional pilot |
Like come on guys--you could've renovated a house, completed a graduate degree, learned a new language/skill, or a million other productive, healthy things, just in the time you spend blathering on in OTHER regionals' forums!!!
Go do something productive and positive with your time. Channel whatever bitterness you have towards Mesa and other regionals into making yourself a better candidate for mainline jobs, LCCs, and Emirates/Ethiad/Qatar (if your personal situtation allows an ME job). It's hard to break out of the rut of negativity and bitterness and infighting--the "next to last" is always more vicious towards the "last" than they are towards the richer, because of our Biology. Rise above your primate brain and realize that isn't the way forward. Okay I'm done posting in this thread--get over yourselves and until your callsign matches the brand name printed on your passengers' tickets, you're a freaking joke for thinking you're better than anyone else. |

To clarify things... 15 are owned by United, we are getting 15 more that we will own. 15 + 15 = 30. We will be operating 30 ejets, and very likely, ejets for American down the road... What survives a nuclear war? Cockroaches and Mesa. Get over it, be haters, we are not going away any time soon...

Like I said, 30+15 = 45.
You wholy owns crack me up, truth be told, you are a financial tool to the mainline. If mainline needs to show a financial loss, they throw money at you and life is good. When they need to show strong earnings to stock holders, you eat ****. Enjoy that roller coaster. One day they say you are getting tons of e-jets, and ramping up to take over the world, the next day they shelve it and not give a crap. Small potatoes in the big picture . |

And yet Parker willingly brought TSA, XJT, and Compass into the fold. There is what he says and what he's been doing.
The official reason XJT and TSA got those aircraft was staffing fears at envoy due to high attrition numbers. The numbers have stabilized and those aircraft can be staffed. Envoys performance numbers are good and the costs must be in line with their goals so I expect the aircraft to return. The only reason I would imagine they would stay with you is their condition and number of cycles. |

I think you just pegged yourself as a complete loser. No one that is naturally respected in the real world talks like that. I'm embarrassed for you by association. Grow up, you 12 year old. There is more to life than your employer. |

I can't believe Hulas would take the erj's unless he had a good contract that lasts for at least a couple of years.
Compass is for 4 years I believe. |

There is more to life than your employer. It's not a matter of pushing you down to stand higher upon you it's a matter of turning on the light to show you where you're standing. If you understand that, which I don't think you will, then maybe you'll have less anger towards me and direct it towards the choices you have made. "There's more to life than your employer" says the guy who works for a bad company. "There's more to life than money" says the guy with none. "There's more to life than family" says the guy without any. There's always more to life so make more of it. . |
