Quote: The audience is new hires. Picket job fairs and MAG needs to create a website and call it something like www.whynotmesa.com. Put on there a comparison between our healthcare, payscales (bonuses included) etc.

As I have said before, the union is sending out these emails about our hotels and health insurance costs. We already know all of that. Tell people who don't work here what its like. That will stop them from coming.
People aren't coming here. Mission accomplished.
The info is so our pilots are informed. That was a complaint that came up during the last union conference call.

Look, it's getting really old. You worry about you and we'll worry about us. There's not one thing you've been spewing that every pilot at Mesa doesn't already know so f off.

People are coming here and the pilot's are already informed about our situation, people want to be informed directly about what the union is doing to rectify the problems. The emails only restate the problems that we are already aware of. If that is the unions goal then they severely misunderstood what people want to be with informed about.

I explained this to him about 20 pages back.

Chris, you may think you're helping but you're not. I've spoken to you privately and my impression is you're an honorable individual but when you come into the Mesa thread and comment it's like poking a bear with a stick. We know the problems here at Mesa and trust me, 90% are trying to get out. The solution that I'm sure you have is not as simple as it may seem. Just quit Mesa and come to one of the wholly owned. Many of us do not want to start at the bottom of another regional. What is the attractive regional today may be the bottom feeder in a year or two. This industry is cyclic and those that have been here for a while know that.

It's certainly a free forum and you are free to say what ever you want but measure your words and comments and please understand that we here at Mesa know all to well what opportunities are at other companies and what problems we are facing here.

I understand where you all are coming from and I'll leave it alone. I apologize if I was coming off like a ****.

What's that written on? Presumably a mechanic wrote it, but do they really know that much more than we do?

It's a piece of removable trim on the front of the EJET yoke....and no, it would be a pilot that wrote that. The black marker over the old scribblings is the mechanics.

Is it SOP in Houston to scribble on airplanes?
