I'm a little underwhelmed, this showing needed to be a lot stronger. It's easy to ***** and moan, but heaven forbid somebody show up on a day off.

But really, we should have had better participation from our own pilots. How many Dallas pilots showed up? How many Dulles or Phoenix pilots showed up? So much whining on this board from our pilots, but yet when it's time to show up and stand for something they are too busy. We can't expect other airline pilots to participate when our own pilots don't.

I was there along with several others I know from the IAH base. It seemed to be mostly post bankruptcy hires and a handful of senior pilots. Not sure about Dulles but there were a few from DFW. You can forget about the PHX crowd doing anything. Most of them probably weren't even aware that it was going on, plus they are so beat down from working here over the decades that they don't see the point anymore.

Responding about your statement of the PHX Pilots beat down. Yes they are and it's comes from the leadership of the MEC. They're all company sympathizers worried about only their days off and their high seniority. The voting power is still with the less than 3 years DOH. That's about 600 pilots. Not sure how many were actually working but the participation should have been greater. Especially on the FO side. They stand to gain the most out of it.

[x] English proficient box checked.
I'm not sure which English some of these guys are speaking, but it's certainly not The Queen's English.
Hell I'd settle for Queens, The Bronx, or Ebonics!

What does the fact that Sennant can only pronounce 5 of their names have to do with their ability to speak English?
