Sorry I missed your point the first time around. And you are of course, correct. It IS laughable/sad. But I imagine someone, somewhere in the management chain, can sleep better at night knowing they "did something positive for the pilots". SMH

My point is, when you think about it, the $300 carrot to keep us around through the holidays is rather laughable.

Anyone know what code that is? I think express just got some 700 flying out of Dfw didn't they?

Last week I was told by an Expressjet CA that they're pulling their 145s out of DFW (12 of them) by April 1 and replacing them with 700s. He said that the 700s were going to be moved over from Atlanta. Maybe that's where those 4 came from?

Again, these are old horizon airplanes that Skywest airlines operated. Skywest INC owns them and they have been repainted in eagle colors to be operated by expressjet (asa) out of DFW.

ExpressJet(UA) owned nothing, not a single plane. So Mesa is a little better off then they are.
But it's not a good place to be right?
Ups? Downs?

Who did United award all the E-Jets to?

The DFW XJT 145s are returning to Envoy and that operation will cease. The 700s (owned by Skywest Inc.) are replacing the XJT (owned by Skywest Inc.) 200s at a 1:1 ratio.

Up side no capital cost, down side UA can move the E-Jets whenever they want. UA can cancel the contract they have with us for the 18 E-Jets we own, but we can shop the planes to AA, DL, or AS and UA would have find another regional willing to buy/lease 18 e-jets and take delivery of them.
