Just tell them your predicament. They will work with you. I am guessing the new pay rate is bringing in more applicants and they are wanting to be more selective. Or, they are trying to do away with the perception that they will hire anyone who can pass a 1st class medical, speaks broken English, and has the time for an R-ATP.

On the Ejet side, only one net new CA on the seniority list even with 15 upgrades in the last month. I don't see Ejet CA upgrades slowing down - hopefully, they will upgrade 20 next month to alleviate the Ejet CA shortage. A bright spot: 13 net new FO's on the seniority list this month.

If they don’t solve the Ejet CA shortage problem, more CA’s are going to interview and walk out the door. 15 upgrades last month didn’t do the trick - we only netted one more CA.
We have a bunch of FO’s with standing bids and the qualifications just waiting to get the upgrade class. They need to upgrade 20 or 25 next month. Having FO’s on reserve doesn’t do any good if they have to beg CA’s to fly.

Just FYI... The company has not extended 300% pay for opentime picked up beyond October 17th.
Reason: If you pick up the opentime in ANTICIPATION of the company extending the timeline for 300% pay, have fun flying on your days off at regular pay! They won’t extend 300% if there are idiots who’ll pick it up for regular pay. QUIT BENDING OVER!!!
