I would think the aging 900 fleet with AA would be more a priority then anything with UA...

There was a rumor of us replacing old 900s with new ones a few years back but that never materialized.

Unless Mesa’s management knows that UA plans to replace the 700’s next year with 175’s. It’s usually easier to keep business than to earn new business.

Aging? The oldest 90p is barely 15 years old. Planes built in the 70s are still flying passengers.

Planes built by Boeing... ive heard MX say the 700/900’s are 15-20 year aircraft. Heard the 175 is a 30 year aircraft..

When were American’s MD80’s built? Pilots in other bases don’t want the IAD flying to go away. Lot of senior pilots there.

Something is up I could see us selling the 700s and going all 175 on the UA side. I’m not sure we can handle that training footprint tho, it would have to be a slow trickle.
