I have been reading these posts for awhile. Congrats to those who got the call and good luck to those trying. I just got the offer for Laredo, TX. They are sending the paperwork for the background next week. Can't wait!! Anyone else going to Laredo? They told me to expect Glynco in Sept. or Oct. Does that sound similar for anyone else who got an assignment recently? Smithee6, my score was in the mid 90's, but I am not former military.

Thanks and you also. Karen D. told me that they were trying to get a class together for Sept. or Oct. which I would be a part of most likely. Maybe that has changed since I spoke with her.(about two weeks ago) November or December would also be ok, but hate to have it mess up the hoildays being a relatively new dad and all. Well I will continue to monitor this site and give out any info that I have for anyone that is interested. Dutch, let me know when you get a date and I will do the same...

Hello,
I just applied for this position and I'm having an issue with uploading my resume. When uploading my resume onto the system (after it has been virus scanned and approved). When I try to view it, I am having some formatting issues when it is opened up in Adobe. For example: Things that lined up before are now moved over several spaces or things have moved down to the next line etc.
Just curious if anyone else has had this issue and wondering if it is something to be concerned with.
Thanks,
Ken

I didn't have a problem like that. When I reviewed my application it was all readable. Not sure what the problem could be. Hey Dutch, is the background paperwork difficult to fill out or is it (hopefully) easy? Is there a dead line for getting it filled out?

Ryan1234,
I'm not sure. I'm new at this like you. Although, I'm pretty sure during training they frown on bring your family or wife to training. If you go on the CBP websites, I believe it address that very question.
Byebyeairlines,
The paper work is a hassle. I'm trying to think back 10 years of my living history. As a poor flight instructor and airline pilot (at the time), a crash pad was home. Address and dates....? Got me... I spent a whole day writing an outline on paper first, before doing the on line questions.
