Get a number at a legacy as fast as you can. The AF isn't going anywhere.

It is truly a great time to be a pilot. Probably unprecedented. But, it was a great time to be a pilot in 2000-2001...right up to the point that it wasn't. Many were hired at a regional in early 2001 thinking they'd only be there 3-4 years, only to still be there in 2015.

Probably one of the most valuable skills I learned in my service in the Army was to ALWAYS IMPROVE YOUR POSITION. Even if it is just a little bit, even if you only plan on being there for a short period in during retrograde.
