NH Air Natl. Guard is hiring
#1
I put this in the hiring thread also-
This is NOT a UPT slot. We need a pilot or two now. Bonus points for current (or past) KC-135 guys...RC or EC will do as well. We have some great guys/gals here, great bennies, easily commutable and one other AWESOME perk that you'll have to pm me for. If you are interested and already a rated military aviator, PM me for more details. Sorry no helo-only time, must be fixed wing (and Army FW doesn't count, sorry, not my rules).

I don't have any Army f/w time, though I have considered going f/w eventually. So what is the difference in an Army C-12, dash 7, gulfstream, sherpa, etc., and AF/Navy multiengine aircraft? Is this characteristic of a lot of air national guard units to not accept army f/w time? Just wondering since I want to try to go ANG after my army time.

In my amature opinion it is all about the unit, and if they want you there are ways to get you in and qualified. The key is making yourself known and proving that you are a person they would want to work and fly with.

I don't know why the AF doesn't recognize the Army F/W guys...we just had a lady go through the course and I'm pretty sure it's the "condensed" 9 month UPT course that helo guys go through. You would have to apply for a UPT slot unfortunately...not my rules, don't shoot the messenger. This is a great gig for a former -135 guy that already has an airline job.
