Strangely, I never get any of these mass emails. I correspond with my assignments guy every now and then and he says that my file is still alive but on hold, as the email suggests. Anybody else on hold, but not getting these emails? Thanks to all who help keep this forum updated and informative.

Occasionally get those e-mails. Have been told I have completed medical, senior review and am waiting for an assignment match to either be a player in filling the few remaining slots to get to 500 or for the extra 300 slots they are trying to get the air staff to fund. I Have been in assignments, everything complete since mid Nov.

No letter
Didn't get the letter, then got an e-mail today saying my aviation orders were marked approved for reinstatement and that my package was sent over to AFPC for EAD orders. I e-mailed back and asked about the recent hold letter and was told that is the next group. Better lucky than good this time.

Folks --
"The Air Force initially approved 500 allocations for the Rated Recall Program but they are considering expanding the program. Senior leadership is asking for your input on the program's effectiveness. Answering will help make this key determination. Thank you for your time. Maj Gen KC McClain, AFPC/CC"

Riddler--
I just checked my LPRP orders ammendment and this is what it says:
"The period of service under these orders is exempt from the five year limit as provided in 38 U.S.C. (c) (4) (D)"
Hope this helps...

Reserve Promotion
Guys,
I don't know how many of you are affected but hear me out. When back on active duty you are still eligible for promotion if you were on the RASL (reserve active status list) for 1 yr. If you were prior guard or reserve and came on to active duty and you are TIG (time in grade), you are eligible to be promoted in the reserves.
Here's the kicker...they coded us all as active duty...and you will not be visible to ARPC for board selection. If you think it's time for a promotion...call ARPC ASAP!!! I was added to a June board 1.5 months late and my PRF is due 30 April. Happy hunting
