so you want to be a military pilot?

I think I'll like it just fine I flew the COD for so long, 8+ years straight that I was so tired of the POS. When I became a T-34C pilot, it was like driving around in a go-kart, granted, a very, very slow go-kart. I think that it was great just not being a C-2A. From what I hear, everyone loves the T-45 so I don't think there will be any complaints from me. It was that or the T-6A but I think I made the right decision.
I hope you'll share the stories when you get to Meridian or Kingsville.

I will have been a primary IP, an advanced IP and an FRS IP. Good comparison. So far, the primary IP job was way, way better than the FRS gig.

Yeah, probably right lol. The calendar was payback for a prank I did on a fellow COD driver. He drove a Miata but thought it was a roadster, he loved that little girl car. So I had license plate frame made, in neon green, that said "chick car...gay pride". Not sure how long he drove around with it on but his prank was better I think.

The atmosphere of the primary squadron was much better than at the FRS....VAW-120 was always an E-2 run NFO squadron, just not fun. Granted, you friend was a very good CO IMO that helped that out. The flying was more fun in primary flight training. At the time, the COD was still flying nights and going to the boat at night with brand new pilots just was never, ever fun. All a matter of perspective I guess.
