OMG this thread is gonna have as much of a run time as Star Wars did when it hit the theaters back in the late 70's!

That's not a call out, that's a back-handed compliment as the whole point of IFF is to transition the studs from training mindset to combat. I doubt as many students remember me. Besides, I save my 10% stories for roll call - the 100% stories I put on APC.

On another subject; Tony, you've got to be a pretty good internet detective when you can figure out that the subject of the thread may be the guy who made one post in it. Looking at the sum of his posts (infers he went to UPT be saying that the USAF paid for his training and tries to rub it into the faces of the other posters and in another thread talks about his time flying the Saab/ERJ/etc), you may be on to something.

From an earlier EglCL65 post on 11-24-2007:

i havent been told to leave by ALPA
An ironic foreshadowing?

I don't get it. I knew of the guy when he was a FO on the turboprop during the dates of some of the former posts. He posts on here like he was a checkairman?

He was called out back in 2007. I guess he didn't learn then:

Oh, I didn't spend much time on it. The horrendous spelling errors are almost like a fingerprint. Every one of his posts contain them. And for some bizzare reason, he must really believe that he IS A CRJ captain and F16 pilot. This guy is ABSOLUTELY out there with his continued charade. I sent "EglCL65" this Private Message titled "Timothy Martins" with, of course, no reply:

"Please see a mental health professional. You are sick. I don't believe you are an F16 pilot, or were ever one.

I don't believe you are a Captain of a CRJ, or were ever one... or any Captain of any part 121 airline, including Eagle.

I fly with a guy, (18 years AE captain), who has flown with you. He knew you were full of crazy stories, but harmless overall. I'm not so sure, particularly if you're an [edited for security].

Notification needs to be given to get that pulled, also.

GET HELP"

Timothy would have been about 21 when he was calling other people "kids" in this post:

FAST Upgrade time!!!

"Why is that when i go to a school to talk to people about AE and what we have they say, "I don't whant to wait 5 years to make CA" Do most of you kids forget that you need 3000Hrs to be a CA in most places? If you get hired with 500Hrs its going to take you time to get your time for CA."

I was an IFF IP a couple years after I went through the B-Course.

On topic, RUMINT says that Mr Martins is job hunting these days.

The obvious spelling and grammar errors are a dead giveaway.

3000 hrs is generally a contractual requirement that can be waved at any time. ICAO is 2 for 1 on PIC for the 750 requirement to fly outside of CONUS. (2 hrs of SIC will equate to one hr of PIC for the ICAO PIC min)

As for this detective snooping.......Good job, and if it is Tim, man up and take responsibility. Apologize to those you hurt. People start to forget and forgive when that happens, and until then, the scab will never form.
