Default Military SIM

Can I use my Military sim time to get the minimum 1500hrs required for ATP? I read you can use up to 150hrs, but they mention something about "at a approved school" any insides?
Thanks

(5) Not more than 100 hours of the total aeronautical experience requirements of paragraph (a) of this section may be obtained in a flight simulator or flight training device that represents an airplane, provided the aeronautical experience was obtained in an approved course conducted by a training center certificated under part 142 of this chapter.

As far as I know the military's sims are not approved under part 142...

C-5 simulators are certified under AC 120-40B. You could make the argument. The boxes I took a 737 type from a fed was a POS compared to the devices I see on base. YMMV

Interesting. I flew the T34C mentor Simulator and was 10 times better than the simulator I saw in one approved 141 school.

FYI for you il guys worried about it, the FAA provides an allowance in the proposed rule for military aviators to obtain a "restricted ATP" that would allow SIC privileges only with 750 hours of military flight time.
