Chicago Tea Party

I very much enjoyed the rant from Mr. Santelli and the floor traders. Every once in a while media personalities and politicos will mostly by accident speak the truth. The markets have been speaking very eloquently all along.
While all political power issues from the barrels of guns, economic power is needed to keep the machine running. Without the complex machinery of the economy, there is no power. Tinkering with this machinery without fully understanding it can lead to disaster. The local auto mechanic may be a fine fellow and well versed in his trade but this would not make him a brain surgeon.

I don't get this stuff over here, but I was able to find this link:
Rant by CNBC's Rick Santelli puts pundit at odds with Obama administration -- chicagotribune.com
Interesting to see all the New Yorkers start to cower when the Chicago guys get riled up.

People who Produce should change there W-4s to 99 Dependents. I did this in College for my summer jobs when I knew I would get all my tax back, since I didn't feel like giving the gubiment a interest free loan.
Just Pay what you owe when Tax Time comes around.
Yes I know there is a substantial penalty for underpayment. How the Government gets away with an 8% interest penalty for underpayment while I get no interest on my refund (if I get one) is beyond me. But if everyone changed thier with-holding now, It's be a year before they came after you. The Government would shut down way before then.
P.S. If I lived in a state that was talking about IOU's vice refund checks, I'd be doing this yesterday. (California)

Fellow Conservatives:
Building upon the success of the February 27th "Chicago Tea Party" Rallies, many of the same organizers are now working to develop an even larger day of protests set to happen on April 15th, 2009.
If you missed the first round of events, you can see some of the action here:

The April 15th protests are known as the Tax Day Tea Party rallies.
The following site contains a whole lot of information about the events currently being planned. You can check here to see if there are any Tea Party events already being organized in your state:
