Doesn’t this go against what you have been saying earlier? That the market for NJA is expanding and they will be adding jets at a rate of “X”per year for the foreseeable future? How is it possible they are going to continue to add aircraft if the same number of net owners is the same? Sure they spend differently but NJA only continues to expand if they can add more net owners and not stay stagnant.

The G650 was/is limited to 250KIAS because of flight controllability issues when the fly by wire fails, which apparently happens a lot. Even grounding one serial number now for what is rumored to be over a year because G can’t figure it out.

It seems the 250kias restriction will be no more. Now it’s safe for someone to fly at 251kias.

So you’re saying that the G650 is a good airplane even though it’s now speed limited to 250 kts like the G200 with tail flutter?

No... it doesn’t.
NetJets has always seemed to grow in markets it can most easily dominate and show a profit in doing so. Large Cabin is filled with many other “lesser” alternatives presently who are diluting the market. NJA is holding its own just fine in this market and stands by to diversify into the entry level large cabin with many jets when an OEM presents a piece of equipment worthy of the order.
Super mid and mid continue to explode.
Light cabin is proving to set record sales with the Latitude.
The plan is 15 net increase a year for the foreseeable which is growth growth growth!
The reality is that many Owners love to diversify amongst several fleets and that something that a whole aircraft Owner couldn’t do easily... or at any operation considered to be “competition” for NetJets either.
Where they are buying? What cabin size? The answer is yes. They are buying NetJets.
Sales have never been stronger in every category we offer seemingly.

Are you saying the Phenom 300 is a bad airplane based on that question? Because getting uncommanded dutch rolls when your GPS fails sounds way worse.

Well the Junkstream 200 had the rudder lateral movement issue after 10 years in service and almost 15 years since it first flew. Hardly a teething issue. Though sending the parts over to HI on a boat was a CLASSIC power move by the guys over in Dallas, I digress.
The 787 had battery problems when it can out, are you saying it’s a bad aircraft? The 747 had compressor stalls when it first debuted, was that a bad aircraft? DC10 has a multitude of issues, L10-11 the same, they were all worked through and they are all classics of the sky.
When you say you are a private jet pilot, which I assume you do at every gathering including funerals, the first question I’m sure asked is “oh do you fly the Gulfstreams? Those are so pretty!” Nobody has ever asked “You fly a Bombadier?!? You know the same company as a snow mobile and those little water craft?” Point is the name is all that matters for people, a Rolls still means class and elegance over a Toyota...

He does get asked if he sits down to pee a lot, but to be fair that is because that's the only choice in the Phenom. Also, I know why he is hard on the G650 and the 250kt speed restriction. 250kt speed restrictions are a bit of a touchy subject.

To my knowledge, the Phenom is a sold out fleet. I’m not familiar with any ongoing GPS issues on the fleet.
Alaska doing well for you?
