But if it is then this is telling for sure...

I was at the June expo and there were 73

How often do these hiring expos take place? Are they by invitation only?

They are held monthly. Its part of the application process, First is quick phone call with HR, from there they invite you to the hiring expo. Day one is SIM eval and HQ tour, day two is an informational expo all about the company and two 30 minute interviews.

Is it necessary or even possible to prepare for the SIM eval? What are they looking for?

Keep in mind the company Also has in person interviews on the weeks were they do not have an expo. Normally they have 8 to 12 people attend this interview, from what I can tell. That is where I believe they had a lot of no-shows.

also, considering the capacity for the expos is approximately 80 pilots, 57 might indicate a reduction in pilot numbers. If so, maybe this helps stimulate the contract…. Especially considering their large growth plans.

Pilot time requirement question

Hey guys, so a few questions regarding the minimum time requirements that netjets has posted.

Everything seems to be identical to the R-ATP 1000 time requirements with the following change.

Regarding the 75 hour sim or actual imc requirement, it states that it excludes simulator acquired sim imc time? The regs allow you to use 25 hours from an aatd like Redbird with an LOA. Will netjets not accept this time?

Also from my understanding netjets wants you to have a completed atp written prior to starting training. Does this mean that you are going to complete the atp ctp on your own dime including getting 25 hours multi time in the full motion before starting class with them? At which point they will simply get you through your ATP and Type ride?

Thanks in advance for any insight from someone who might know.

You have to have the ATP written done before you can even attend the hiring expo. So yes the ATP/CTP has to be on your own dime.
