Ain't that the truth.

Quote: Why no? this is democracy man, it is called voting. 51/49 is a vote. So the minority at the time of the vote doesn't want a vote to be put forward because they lose by a small margin? That's what voting is about.

I am sure the LBF would have passed somewhere between 55/45 to 60/40. If the union knew that the majority would have voted a big NO, they would have brought it to a vote and win a resounding NO. This would have been an amazing weapon against the LBF/company.
But the union knows much more about the general group's opinion than the echo chamber of the MB.
A 51/49 no vote would again give the company more leverage. Knowing they’re close to placating the pilot group with a POS offer.

That LBMFAO passing would have made us even more of a joke than we’re quickly becoming.

And did anything ever happen from that….. NO. That was your decision.

The 350 is an amazing plane. I wish we got more of those.

I don’t believe I said (or implied) that it did. Just that one of my best days was the day I resigned from it.

Some will have no trouble dealing with the SDP circus, most will. The sun will rise again tomorrow.

I keep wondering if I should bid a new aircraft around November or December just to see what happens. Not against the 350, but if BWY wants to play games, I might as well play too!

That's just your personal opinion. in a hypothetical 51/49 there would have been 51% disagreeing with you, that's all, nothing else. It's the power of not having a minority impose its views on a majority.

As far as "POS offer", go find another job where you can get a year-over-year increase of approx. 18% in base pay (+ 30% in FDP). This was an interim bargaining offer, a LOA, not a CBA. Be real. You're in the 10-15th percentile of income in the country and you're asking for more than any corporation would pay. Rich people crying about getting richer. Pathetic.

Listen Alan, or Adam, or Don, or Sean, or.......name the management stool. It's embarrassing you cannot engage with the pilots directly. This sad attempt at using this site as your bargaining ring is.....well....a bit lame. MinRest must not be getting your message across well enough.

The history of some of you will soon be revealed.

That is probably spot on. He must have chosen the Zebra account as his "normal sounding" account and posts his typical insanity on his new account.

the kind of posts that must make the company happy. Seeing an unhinged pilot unable to accept different opinions. The fact that in your low intellect a disagreement can only mean someone is working for the company is a pretty sad observation. Keep doing the company job by displaying that you are absolutely not interested in different opinions inside the group and actually obviously incapable at negotiating.

You must obviously be quite close Loopy and the Lady because it is obvious they have zero interest in negotiating an IBB. Have never counter offered, took 3-4 meeting for them to submit compensation requests, keep negotiating stupid QOL things and SDP fluff and the lame "hotels & food" argument. It is quite obvious that Loopy and his gang are more interested in destruction and slandering their employer than actually negotiating for the group. I can't believe PL got sucked into that.

The latest letters from the CEO followed by PL's scrambled answer is obvious that the union is not interested in negotiating anything. Loopy was recalled because we perceived that he was too dangerous and more interested in destroying the company than actually working to negotiate a contract. He got recalled and things moved forward. Well, here we are again.
- I can't wait to read the lady's email tomorrow, I'll have to ask my 12 year-old daughter to come translate. I expect the same narrative, been 2-3 months of the same narrative, "it's not us it's them, we are good and here for you, them bad, them very bad, love us, look what we do, love us please, them bad".

What are we asking for? what are we negotiating? why wasn't there any counter-proposal? Stop lying to us about negotiations, get back to the table, do the job we are paying you for, stop hurting our brand and insulting our skills, professionalism and our integrity. You know very well if you submitted the LBF for a vote right now (real concrete money increase) it would pass. Do you job!

Sometimes, people may look for answers in unconventional places, but it's important to remember that seeking answers can lead to more meaningful solutions. Encouraging open discussions and seeking help from appropriate sources can help gain a better understanding of one's thoughts and feelings.
