A Doctor at recurrent? There are some younger guys who would not be happy with that. Just saying.

keeping guys out of the cockpit that aren't physically sound is NOT just about age.

Totally agree...although the statistical probability of that happening goes way up with age. Having said that, if you're not fit to fly - Get the F out, regardless of age. Buckeye is right...too many people are hiding things (GA comes to mind).

It´s just semantics

By the way, Gulfstream calls them "autothrottles" as well.
Actually, I don't think it is semantics. Correct me if I'm wrong, but with auto throttles the levers move to the associated thrust position where auto thrust (as the Airbus) the throttles are fixed in a maximum position and never move until a lower maximum is commanded.

I keep getting conflicting info on 401k match at NetJets. Can someone clear it up for me?

Thanks!

Currently company matches 52% of employee contribution (up to 20% per check) until IRS max is reached. If you contribute more that 20% per check, the rest of the match is deposited in January of the following year.

Not the full explanation though. There is a schedule for vesting of the company match.

1 year of service: 0% vested
2 years of service: 20% vested
3 years of service: 40% vested
4 years of service: 60% vested
5 years of service: 80% vested
6 years of service: 100% vested

To get any money from the company, you'll need to stay at least 2 years. As most post-furlough hires will tell you, your goal should be to get Zero 401k match because you've left for a better job ASAP.
