For people who live in major metropolitan areas, the value of not commuting can be negligible.

If you have kids and don't want to move or commute, go to NetJets.
If you want to live in a log cabin North Dakota, go to NetJets.
If you want to live downtown in a major city with 3 roommates, go to Netjets.

It cuts both ways.
Ya lost me

Says the loon who thinks Jersey rocks. That immediately makes your opinions invalid.

So, put app in last week, called this week to set up phone screen/interview. Any
Insight? There are a lot of negative Nancy's on here, not saying that they are unfounded, just wondering if it is a vocal majority drowning out the apathetic majority. Present gig is a fantasic one, $$, bennies wise, the worst part is the time away from home, thanks

Just plan on entire career in the right seat, and you'll be fine.

Give it a shot, that way you'll know for sure whether or not you will like it. I can tell you that I left a job making slightly more money, great work environment, slightly less days off. It was 135 charter and the company played by the rules and were very supportive. 3 pilot airplane and you maybe flew 10 days a month. Career progression was the main issue and a lack of hours per year. NetJets has name recognition to help get you the next job, it helped me in that regard. I don't regret the decision but I heard lots of negative before I came, chose to only listen to the positive and I came to my own conclusion on the company. In the end only you can do that.

My gut is if the only issue you have is days off, you're gonna hate NetJets.

Thank you for the reply, it does help. Present gig is all over seas 45-60 days a time, 170 days last year, this is the time away that sucks but on the flip side I just finished a 90 days home with one flight for currency. So yes days off would be a problem but the six figure + pay cut would also suck!

Thanks again

The schedule is great here if you do the 7/7. Having a week off is awesome. You will greatly enjoy the schedule by comparison it sounds like. Sounds like you're typed in a large cabin airplane. I highly suggest you find a large cabin job.
