Are we supposed to act like Des Moines is on the same level of a city as New York, Chicago, Dallas, Washington DC, or San Francisco? One of the best reasons to work at Netjets is because you want to live in Indianapolis, Birmingham, Albuquerque, etc and not have to commute. For people who live in major metropolitan areas, the value of not commuting can be negligible.
If you have kids and don't want to move or commute, go to NetJets.
If you want to live in a log cabin North Dakota, go to NetJets.
If you want to live downtown in a major city with 3 roommates, go to Netjets.
It cuts both ways.

Insight? There are a lot of negative Nancy's on here, not saying that they are unfounded, just wondering if it is a vocal majority drowning out the apathetic majority. Present gig is a fantasic one, $$, bennies wise, the worst part is the time away from home, thanks

My gut is if the only issue you have is days off, you're gonna hate NetJets.

Thank you for the reply, it does help. Present gig is all over seas 45-60 days a time, 170 days last year, this is the time away that sucks but on the flip side I just finished a 90 days home with one flight for currency. So yes days off would be a problem but the six figure + pay cut would also suck!
