Thanks! Great to finally meet you as well! Hopefully I'll see you out on the road somewhere!

I've been doing my due diligence the last few days. I'm keeping CA1900 busy!

The worst thing about being at NJ is the fact they are not adding pilots to the senority list. Management is focused on doing more with less. Look, pilots in general are lazy at any company. No one wants to work hard for an entire week straight. That's why we fatigue and take a break. No big deal. NJ is a good job to have while you wait for something else. I'm sorry to those stuck in the pool. All you can do is keep trying to improve your situation and if nothing else comes up, take the NJ job. No one will be surprised if you leave within a year.

Repeat after me: The Challenger that Netjets operates is NOT a 650. That title goes to the best corporate aircraft ever built: The Gulfstream 650. The Challenger that Netjets operates is perhaps one of the crappiest business jets on the market and is nothing more than a warmed over CL-605.

Rant over. Carry on...

"Warmed over?"

Please. They put a huge lavatory in it. Huge. So big they should have taken a seat out, but didn't.

luckily since the plane weighs more than 40000lbs both pilots get paid extra to crew it and deal with-

-just got a PM from someone. Is it true that FOs don't get over 40k pay anymore? That was part of the CBA? FO scale tops out at year 11? Year 11 pay is still about 30,000 LESS than 2nd year pay at Delta, AA, UAL, Fedex, UPS, SWA.

I'm shocked, just shocked.

I'm hoping to move on from a king air corporate job. Long story short, the job wasn't as advertised. Pay is good considering the plane and how little we fly, but I've only gained 500 hours of PIC over 5 years and quite frankly I'm tired of sitting on my butt in an office everyday waiting for a new trip schedule to come out. I really don't want to jump to a regional if I can avoid it. I'm looking for quality time on the job as well as at home (wife and three kids).

A good friend of mine who is a 650 FO walked in my resume to NJA just last week. I've skimmed this thread a little bit trying to weed out details, but what does hiring look like for 2018 assuming that they're done for 2017?

FO pay goes to 12 years now. It will go to 13 years in December, then top-out at 14 years in December of next year.

There is no longer a Large-cabin override for FO's (but it still exists for Captains)
