Post NetJets Interview Gouge

How about we move and keep all info on interviews to this thread please. If you have any experience to share please post it here and please be as detailed as you can recall. Leave that other thread for guys to argue about who has the best flying job.

45 min of TMAAT questions, tour of the building, free lunch, free propaganda videos. If you make it through day one, they call you that evening to tell you if you made it two day two, which is the sim eval. 12 of us interviewed, 10 of us were all sitting in the hotel, and only 6 got the call to continue.

Only 6? Wow... Has anyone been able to figure out a common link between those that make it and those that don't? What all was everyone required to present at the interview? Obviously logbooks but did they require anything else? Transcripts? PRIA info? Additional copies of resumes?

I'm used to having dozens of gouges off of WillFlyForFood but the most recent one listed is 2008 :-(

Assuming that all 6 got hired, they're going to have to interview a minimum of 400 pilots to get the 200 they need right now. And that doesn't even factor in attrition with the Majors hiring like crazy.

I was talking last night with a guy who was one of the ones that got the TBNT call after day one of the interview. I am still trying to figure out what they are using as criteria on selection as there are no technical questions. So far I have heard no red flags that I would associate with them not picking somebody.

I am very confused as to how they think they are going to properly staff when final recall notices have been sent, acceptance has been low, and only 1000 applicants have applied. I am not sure the percentage of those 1000 who have received interviews but if they are only taking about 50% of the interviewers to day two, the numbers don't add up to proper staffing...

Nope, no common link. And no logbooks were requested, and no one wanted my updated resume or letters of recommendation. I was really scratching my head as to why I got the big FU

I am assuming then that no one went back and updated their application after being invited to interview and actually showing up for the interview? I have been counseled to do that for airline apps.com but am not sure it is necessary for NetJets.

I am completely guessing here because that's all we have to go on, but maybe it has to do with the emotional test prior (even though they specifically say they don't use that for screening), or this is a tactic by NJA to give the illusion that they have massive hiring going on. I have no internal recs, 3100 hours TT and LRJET and XLS types. Why did I get a call? Maybe they are bringing guys in to interview, and give the TNBT to the sim so they can give the illusion that they have the numbers to turn people away. Remember this is during contract negotiations....

It wouldn't shock me at all if I was already flagged to not make it to day 2. No tech questions, no logbooks or documents. The only things they can go on after the initial invite are the emotional test, your TMAAT answers and the way you are dressed. How badly can somebody answer the "why do you want to work at NetJets" question??
