Denver Air Connection is Key Lime, mostly
I’ve been reading what little there is about Denver Air Connection and Key Lime Air. Key Lime is the parent company which operates metroliners around Colorado hauling freight out of Denver and that is all under Part-135.
The passenger carrying side is called Denver Air Connection (DAC) and mostly all done under Part 121, the exception being some branded DAC flights that use pax carrying metro-23s (I think) out of Denver. Those metros are configured with 9 seats. The Dornier Jet 328 and the Embraer-145 fly mostly EAS routes (essential air service, basically government subsidized routes to under served small towns) out of Denver. It’s a pretty small operation but they are attempting to grow and did just get awarded a new Denver EAS route to Alamosa Colorado (one of the towns that SKW requested to leave). If you’re hired as a captain on the DOJET or Embraer you’ll only fly the 121 passenger side of the operation. Last I checked on the orange site you’ll see jobs listed under Denver Air Connection (part-121) and others posted under Key Lime Air (part 135 metros).
The company hasn’t done a great job in my opinion of differentiating Denver Air Connection from Key Lime Air. They operate different websites, one for Key Lime and one for Denver Air.
