No bathroom on the planes either.

So besides toilets, what's the equipment on these 1900? I am hearing no AP/FD, no GPS, EFIS? Just a big 172 with the 6 pack?LOL

SADLY mistaken my friend anyone can fly a 172 but a 1900 takes something it is one of very few airplanes you actually have to fly. It has a ton of power and the 6 pack ain't your daddy's six pack! Learn the plane before you bash it.

Okay, so I'm on a 70's trip, and I hope things work out for Pinnacle's pilots. But, beware the management song and dance

Never bashed anything, so you calm down! You did not actually answer my question, I was just trying to find more info on the plane. And please leave my daddy's 6 pack alone! And by the way, thanks for including a Microsoft Flight Simulator screen shot, go back to playing now!

:D

Was talking to a buddy in class. No AP, but yes on the FD, it has EFIS with an EHSI and a Garmin 530. No NDB approaches authorized and they can shoot GPS and RNAV approaches.

This is what I heard. Sounds fun!

Thanks Coryk for the answer, that's exactly the info I was looking for!

Ha ha, Let me break this down for you. The Beech 1900D is not a transport category airplane, that means not a whole lot of redundancy on system, that's why the 1900 doesn't even have an overhead panel (so the airplane systems tend to be simplistic). The other is that the Beech 1900 is just a big King Air, and I am not sure if you are aware of this but besides 121 is a single pilot airplane so it can't be that hard.

You are not the only one flying around a 6 pack!!!

Your "airliner" is missing this...

I love my 1900 it was a fun time in my life and a fun airplane it was before all the mgt is out to get you stuff. True it does not have an overhead panel but it is also not going to tell you exactly what is wrong and what to do about it like on a ERJ or CRJ.
BR I did not notice it was a question I thought you were sayint it did not have it and just had a simple six pack and as for the pic I was going to use a diff one but the screens were nicely lit up and now I see why. :o

what is Lol? It's fact isn't it? It's a single pilot airplane besides 121 ops and it's not a transport category airplane. Most T-props out there flying 121 are more complicated to fly like the SAAB 340 and the ATR. What the post that started this conversation was stating was that the aircraft was simple to fly, less BS and more stick and rudder like a Big 172!!! But seems like the new GIA guys are a proud bunch (one can admire that) but they are going a bit over the top sometimes and are making themselves a bigger target, so it's fun to pull their chain.
