Mostly I think for me is they pay. How is a new hire FO junior to me going to the Saab and making more per hour than me and my colleagues when we all bid into the Saab and still didn't get it. I know the union is doing something to equalize the pay for 1900 guys that weren't shifted over. Not to mention 1900 flying is already been cut in half for next month in FLL.
So there definitely will be some upset peeps like myself on that. I think number 125 was the last senior pilot to get the Saab. Then all of a sudden 189 or so gets it skipping the line. I don't know what other airline guys think of that or how that was handled at your airlines |

I'll stay a line holder on the 1900 until I can hold a Saab line. Until then, as long as I'm getting Saab pay, I'm happy. |
I am curious if they are going to send out letters, phone calls, or emails etc. for the May class. Based on what I have read they have done it different with different classes / pilots. Haven't gotten mine yet...
Since today is 15th, anyone get an email or call yet on the class? If it goes out by mail may take a few days. |
Question for those who are at Silver now: I didn't get chance to go through the entire thread, however what I'd like to know is how does Silver determine seniority...if they do it at all? Is it age? SSN?

Seniority is determined by age in class. Then you just jump into the seniority pool by hire date in class order

Not really a choice, there's the standing preferential bid, but they will place you where you can hold that seniority.
