Does this mean you liked training better than flying the line? I'm confused. Most people like it the other way around.

I enjoyed training and I like flying the line, but some days the grass is greener on the other side. For the most part you know your schedule in training and it could be a Mon-Fri 8-5. With line flying you can get extended or be running behind schedule and rather than be done at 2 you're done 5. Most of the time I don't mind, but you have those days where you wish you were just done. I like the ever changing schedule, it's nice to break it up from working a typical 9-5 job, but that's just me. Others have a harder time coping with it and it'll take time for them to acclimate to it.

You guys make me sick.... You guys sit on here and praise and bash this place like you have something to compare it to. You haven't been anywhere else. None of the regular posting guys on here were even at Gulfstream and can't even compare it to that. The sad part is it was better when it was the original Gulfstream, and if you were here you know what I'm saying.

For the new guys congrats and welcome. Enjoy your time here the best that you can. Hopefully you can read through nancy, jsf, and Cruz's words of ignorance cause they really have no clue.

Keep it up though guys. You make us look great. All of you have already made names for yourselves and you have only been here for 6 months..

Nancy google scab for me cause I'm pretty sure you have zero knowledge about what that is...

Oh really? How much is their training pay, exactly? How about the second year? Is the APC payscale not accurate?

I'm curious, for the sake of your assertion.

Training pay is 4 hours of pay per day at (whatever rate you're getting). Training is VERY intense which translates to MUCH higher pay during training than any other regional airline.

New hires are also paid Per-Diem while in training at the moment but this is subject to change at any time.

The pay rates on APC are not accurate.

Those would be in the most current union contract which you'll get the first week you get here.

(APC is known to lag a little with updating the pay rates...not their fault at all)

Thanks. So what do your new payscales look like for the first 5 years in either seat?
