Does having a speeding ticket which is going to be removed off the record in 90 days, disqualify you from the hiring selection?

So 4 or 5 checkride failures is ok but one speeding ticket is not?

Yes - because it is a known fact of life that pilots do not speed
When times of tough for the employee - it is a discriminator. When times are tough for the employers - a few speeding tickets won't matter. My mom told me to get my speed rush from flying and keep it off the road (also didn't want to pay higher insurance costs) and it worked for the MOST part

I know sarcasm is hard to grasp amongst pilots.

NOT true about speeding tickets. The timeframe of when they were is probably important as in recent tickets may hurt you but having a checkered past as far as your driving record goes will not prevent you from getting an offer.
