What a cluster in the Atlanta system last night. When things get bad always remember to close your PA's by reiterating that we are Air Transport Worlds 2013 Regional Airline of the Year.

A couple weeks ago we were supposed to know if we were losing a couple cities out in Montana... Anyone know if we still have or are losing any?

Word on the street is any FOs who don't have 1300 hours by August are being given two options: Resignation or termination.
Between 1300 and 1500 hours affords you a third option: LOA until you get the required time. Of course, this is all just hearsay, I have no official source. Someone else will have to confirm it.

No thanks to Corona, and I only drink Carib in the islands. How about some more Canadian, White Rascal, Holy Mackerel, or maybe even Medalla.

I'm really done with the union conference calls. Every week I listen hoping it will be productive and contain useful info. However, every week it turns into Richard lecturing the pilot group about something, and shifting all the blame away from union leadership. Today it was "pilots don't know the contract and that's the problem." The reality is that we do know the contract but when we call nothing is done about it. For example, the contract says proper staffing. In today's call Richard said prepare for junior manning and extension because we're under staffed but no information about how their planning on enforcing this section. I could give more examples but the point is these calls have turned into "why it's the pilots fault and not the union leadership's" and that is unacceptable. It's time for a change.

I've been following this forum for a few months now. This is just a thought, but things seem so bad for you guys I'm not sure a union is really even needed. I mean, how much more worse could things be?
