We are behind on 8 Saab deliveries, apparently schedule "optimizing" software reduced the need for something like 15 crews, and MIA is not opening. Yea, I'd say we are very overstaffed and can see the reasoning behind a small scale furlough... At least for a month or two until we get those e170s people have been talking about :rolleyes:

Guess the refurbishing is takin longer than expected.

I've ferried 2 of them down from YQB to GNV for delivery. Both times we went up there and waited for 4-5 days before the plane was actually ready for us to bring down. First time I went up, there were two being prepped simultaneously, second one was ready the day after we left. Second time I went up there, the next one was sitting outside the hangar waiting for ours to depart so they had room to bring it in and work. Don't know if that one has been delivered yet, fleet number 358.

This coming from a former 9E pilot. The good ol it doesnt make sense or it is not cost effective. Did you already forget? ;)
