Also, can a Delta flight attendant jumpseat on Silver Airways?

Yes, Delta pilots have an agreement with us for jumpseating. The listing procedure should be the same where you show up at the gate and request to list yourself for jumpseat.

However, I'm not sure about flight attendants, but we should have an agreement for flight attendants too. I've talked to united flight attendants who have gotten a ride on our plane, but we have a codeshare with them, so they are able to list as non-revs.

All you can do is give it a try and find out!

Yes delta pilots and flight attendants can Jumpseat no problem. List at the gate, or ticket counter at the smaller out stations.

Anyone hear about losing United travel bennies in June?

Yes I have heard the same thing from a couple different sources. Word is we are loosing them because we are instituting our own booking software / program and will become a completely independent airline.

Who knows though...

Since this thread has been dead, here's some gossip- (confirmed) MIA will not be opening. Manpower and aircraft will be used "to pursue other opportunities"....

I've heard that as well. MIA is supposedly not to open within the 12 months of the Staffing Bid, so that in itself might cause a new Staffing Bid.

I've heard (rumor) that San Juan might end up being one of the possible replacements for MIA.

Could someone please tell us, who the CEO of Silver might be? No trick question here...an honest reply would be nice. Cheers H

 wow...you actually bought that. I can tell you if we loose our code share plus status with UCal we will loose our travel benefits. (i.e. Delta...non code share plus only interline, no travel).

They will never release that information though (until they must) because it would send a rift through the company, especially at the FA level. Travel benefits are a primary reason FA's are FA's. They would bail quickly.
