+2 to his +1 this outstation needs to end, the people calling out sick and taking a day to get a reserve in place and no spare aircraft.(no problem with sick calls but no reserve to cover, end rant), I just wish our union would do something and the company would work with the union to solve some issues but it seems some people some where aren't looking to move the company forward it was going so good for a short time there.

We really need to lose this mickey-mouse out station basing crap.
But the CEO video says "so our pilots can live in the community they serve and be a part of it. Hotel vans are hard to come by"

Nothing like rolling eyes considering you can count in one hand who lives in these lost towns at this company. The EAS flights are basically employee shuttles to work.

I like to view it as if we work at area 51 and we have to take a secret shuttle to the middle of nowhere to start work

It is secret, when I Jumpseat on a mainline carrier they're like "*** is silver?" It's so secret that pink saabs aren't obvious enough.

Don't understand how living in a community that we serve will make it any better, if we're going to do this, better to have IAD, ATL and CLE as the communities that we are a part of.

According to the latest Silver Airways video with Dave Querio, we have 18 Saabs on property. He also said the plan is to reduce to 8 BE-1900Ds by April.
