Hey guys. Have an interview with silver scdugled and was hoping to get a few questions answered. Surprised to see a 6k signing bonus. Tips to pass the interview? How are the flight benefits, talked to one captain and he did not know, Upgrade time still 1.5 years? How hard is it to get Clarksburg as a base? I live in WV. How is training? Yes i know their is a lot of studying involved, I know 121 training programs pretty well but some companies are worse than others. Some are impossible and some help you to learn. Please give me a extensive recall of training. What is it like to work for silver? Yes all regionals could be better i know, however other than staffing problems i have not heard anything mortally bad about Silver. Looks like a nice place to stay at while building time and the 2 pilots that i have had a chance to jumpseat with were over all happy. I appreciate any and all info, interview tips, ect. Thanks to all and happy flying.

I understand that a lot of people are leaving but for better options. Like i said that any regional has it faults but as long as they aren't forging duty times on pilots paperwork and shady stuff like. Whats the place like? I have looked back about 10 pages on the forum and have not found anything to valuable. So just to refresh the thread for us looking for jobs, any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks

I think you are likely to find that there might be a regional or two (or more) that does a little better than Silver for many of the items listed here, just by the shear size of the airline alone. However, you might find Silver excels in one particular area better than another airline and maybe that one thing is really important to you such as a domicile.
Your best bet is to probably make another post asking for the opinions of pilots who have only been on the property for less than 6 months to see how they feel about their decision.
Or, you could just say who cares, take the job, get 6 months in and move on to greener pastures.
Any and all are valid ways of doing this.
