And if reading all six paragraphs is too challenging, here are the highlights:

The alleged violations include improper scheduling of flight crew duty time, and the installation of unapproved air conditioner compressors and improperly maintained vent blowers on the airline's fleet..."



I hope the changes are more than just the name, but I confess, I am skeptical.

By the way, what was the bonus?

Old managementt was responsible for a lot of that happening around here, but to dig deeper the crew knows how much they are on duty for and should have made it known. Secondly the people responsible for a lot of the old GIA issues are gone now judging by the old press release you posted. As for the bonus it was a grand which is damn nice to get.

That is a nice bonus.
What was the purpose of the bonus?
Was it just something that everyone in the company got for Christmas or was it some how performance based?

For the record, it is not a "must have" for the interview, but you do have to get it if you are offered the job.

I wondered - - but then you guys weren't even out of ground school yet right, or through the sims?
Sounds like just giving away a $1000 extra - almost like a signing bonus.
I hope the company can afford that in these times - especially if just starting up.

The entire company was given that for all full time employees. The new owners have quite the financial backing and I guess the saying happy employees makes loyal employees applies here.
