I think you got me and him confused but it's ok let's clear some straight facts up. You didn't pass you're indoc test, you failed and then retook a very short remedial version of it that was given orally. Is that not true? Moving on to systems test you barely passed that to because I asked you your score and without throwing numbers around it was the bare min to get there. So unless you lied to my face and said you did worse...... ya I don't think you did that. I just don't see why you have to come on here and put down a company time after time. Take responsibility for your actions bud. I like you I just don't see why you act this way. I remember sitting in class and as questions would go around and be asked you were "King um and hmmm" you couldn't answer what was asked ever.

As for JSF repeating sim sessions I don't know where you're coming with this garbage, but I was his sim partner and we were done with the frasca respectively at 3/4 lessons meanwhile we come back from Orlando (where we each finished the sim in the allotted time given) and you're on lesson 7 or 8. MJ it's obvious that you struggled and there is nothing wrong with that nothing. Nobody thinks any less of you for not being here everyone in that class wanted everyone to pass, but sometimes in life that doesn't always happen and trust me I know about failures. It's not good to lie about anything ever I don't know where you work now nor do I care, but just be happy with what you have there and forgot about Silver.

If I didn't pass that test I would have been washed right then and there. SYS test was also passed and not barely. Let's get one thing straight. You and I NEVER did any study sessions nor did you ever ask me anything about that airplane, EVER! I finished my sims in the alloted time even after going home. My sys test? Didn't the large majority of the class score in the 80's? SO did they barely pass to?
Dude I am man enough to admit if I washed for legitimate reasons but what happened to me as well as the other folks that also "washed" and you guys downed was straight up wrong. Rather than letting the perps that did this to us get on here and state thier case you guys relying on second hand info rumors and lies get on here to defend folks who canned a person for reporting cheating, 2 who were told they were not gonna make it before they got into the sim and me and I am not going to repeat what was said to me.....again.
I make no aplogies for sharing my story and try what you might I am not gonna change it.

As far as JSF and you, I was told you had a bad session, was crying and asked the instructor to repeat the task. She said no. JSF I heard had to repeat some task also.

Glad you like where your at, so do I. I also know a few bad apples at Silver does not mean the whole company is jacked up, I actually liked it till that crap went down.

Again Cruz, why are you and JSF defending the actions of those who won't in a legal setting or in these forums defend themselves? Why are you doing this?

Autopilot, I talked to you at the hotel and you seemed like a stand up guy. When I told you my partner and I were running profiles, you asked if you could join and I said no problem. My post 2 or 3 pages ago wasn't to call you out on a lie, I was simply trying to say that your post had nothing to do with the current state of the thread, and seemed as if you were just coming in to make a point that you got screwed over (whether you actually did or not, is none of my business). That being said, what other people may or may not have done during training is also none of mine, yours, nor anyone else's business. Calling someone out on a public forum, saying they cheated on their wife? Who cares, show some class. I was rooting for you to get through, just as I was the rest of my classmates. And to be honest, I would have loved a mock oral. I'd rather find out that I need some extra help BEFORE the risk of getting a pink slip. I even asked Lilly if we can have one. I wish you the best of luck wherever you're at and hope you enjoy doing it.

To the rest of the people on here interested or on their way to training. As Cruz said, dont let these few rants discourage you. The training at Silver is very thorough, but very fun. Everyone here wants you to get through. My only gripe is don't be surprised at the amount of BS that goes on there. It's expected, as with any other regional. They are growing at a rate that is larger than their staffing capacity. You are being put up in a hotel in the heart of a cruise port, so expect to be moved to a different hotel (though this may not happen). They also say training will be 6 weeks... My class started on Jan 16th, and I'm currently sitting at home awaiting IOE which I was told wont start until the second week of April. The Frasca is old and wil probably be down at some point. Also, training typically coordinates with the maintenance hangar for run ups, aircraft orientations, preflight training, and emergency training. Once they move up to Gainesville I'm not sure how this will all pan out.

Let's prevent this very informative thread from being locked, and act like the adults we are...

Sandrich, I agree with you 100%. I will not disscuss my experience with Silver anymore or appear to be bragging about my moving on. I wish you as well as others alll the best. Keep studying!!!!!

Yea I know I called the guy(s) out, however they called me out (though misinformed) but hey, I said my peace. Moving On.

Ok now that we got all that cleared up, can someone tell me the key points to focus a lot of study time on for the indoc test? Which section appeared to be hit the most, or the most difficult to grasp?
Thanks

Know Section 3 and 4 of the OM1 COLD. That is general information that you'll use everyday. If you dont know it already, you'll learn about C055 and Exemption 3585. This will definitely be on the test, as well as when departure, destination, and 2nd destination alternates are required. If anything else pops to mind, ill be sure to add it to the thread.

Man

I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't post about my personal life, fact or fiction, and it's my business so get off your moral high horse. BTW, I'm not married, nor have I been, so get your facts straight. Why would Cruz and I both go out and try to get girls when we are both in serious relationships.

What happened here?

I started this thread with a question and after completing training, I have to admit Silver is a nice place to land. My goals haven't changed as I am leaning towards corporate aviation but after meeting so many good people, I am open to staying here a while.

I have no ownership over this thread but my hopes were for an informative collection of posts to help pilots with an interest in a new company that few have inside information about.

The recent crap needs to go away and make room for professional exchanges of experience.
