He was fine for me and had lot's of good knowledge to give.
DL wasn't even their examiner, just their PM for the ride. Good guys, sorry that it happened to them.

I'm sure there are people who don't want to move from their family in FL so they would rather stay as an FO in the FL system than upgrade to a Captain in the North. Not everyone want's to move on so quickly and with the way everything is moving I'm sure it wouldn't before they can hold Captain in FL.

Listen, I live in South Florida with a wife and three kids whom I love more than anything. Iv'e been two legging it to reserve for four years. Now i'm willing to give up four years of seniority at a large regional, take a pay cut, and three leg it just to move on with my career. Your'e telling me that there is a large portion of guys at Silver who are willing to pass up an 80% pay increase and turbine pic just so they can drive to work?

Something doesn't add up...

I'm not saying there is a large percentage, but I have met a few who would rather wait. Not everyone has the same goals in aviation as maybe you or I. I think the #1 FO has been with the company for like 10 years and just doesn't want to upgrade.

I would think that most of the guys don't take the upg due to lack of hours. That leads me to believe that many of the current FO are just shy of 1500 hours. DECA could be downgraded in no time.

It's a possibility if they don't continue to expand. I don't think it's 80% of the FO's that have those hours probably less than half.

Right,

The first six Saabs are hard orders are hard orders @ one every 21 days, the remaining twelve i'm not sure about. I was told eleven were growth and 7 were 1900 replacements. Do you know anything more about those remaining saab orders?
