It's still going on but I hung up, my bs tolerance isn't very deep so I made my exit. The phoenix was shot down.

Seriously I am ALWAYS commuting home during the conference calls!!!!!

:/

See, if we vote in this new LOA you would most likely be on one of the 18 day reserve stretch, so you wouldn't miss any more conference calls.
Im voting yes to help you out the Saluki :D

Oh god thank you!

If I have 18 days on minimum at a time I'll only have to do my transcontinental commute once per month! Now sure if I'm gone 18 days (minimum) a month I won't have a home to go back to but gee golly ill sure be able to travel the world on my reduced paycheck!!!

Wait, collections agents are calling because I haven't been home to pay my bills? No worries! Now that I'm home for 11 days at a time I'll be sure to have time to attend my court date! Thanks Silver! You're really thinking about me!!

A prominent union official actually said if the LOA is not voted in, the company will shut down. I couldn't believe my ears! But, still vote how your heart feels boys and girls haha.

Bull$hit! If the Company is basing their bankruptcy decision on whether the LOA gets voted in or not, they're gonna file bankruptcy anyway then!!

Remember, AMR had $4 Billion cash on hand when they filed Ch11. And Pinnacle voted in an "industry leading CBA" right before they went into Ch11. Stranger things have happened.

Scare tactics... plain and simple.

They know the LOA is lower than crap, so they are doing anything they can to get it to pass.

Would you expect not to be strong armed by the Teamsters?

Don't fall for the "if you don't accept this, we're filing bankruptcy" crap!! Every airline threatens that at contract negotiations time. They jusy want see how close the vote is and how much to sweeten the deal. If its voted down by a small margin, like 55% No, then they only have to throw you a few little scraps. But if its voted down by like 95%, then you're sending management a clear message that the TA is horse crap.

That sounds like a threat or even intimidation, likely against the law (Railway Labor Act).
