I am going to decline the offer. I do not want to be bound to a 24 month contract ($24,000), and I don't think it is would be a wise move, having zero part 121 experience and zero time in type.

If they would hire you as a DEC, then are they offering a position as a FO? Truly it seems a more appropriate move than DEC unless you have some other experience than CFI. At least the introduction to -121ops would be beneficial.

I respect that decision. It displays that you have sound judgement, which ironically is an attribute of a good Captain.

Knowing your limitations is important.

Probably a little worse than it is now, which is fairly attrocious. Hopefully when things start moving i'll get the Saab in FLL which would be nice!
